I have seen so many people posting about the Fishless Fingers on Facebook and Instagram and been really excited to try them. We went to the local Sainsburys this evening to have a look if they had any to my surprise the range of vegan Quorn products had expanded massively since we were in their last.
I managed to pick up a few bits;
- Fishless Fingers
- Linda McCartney Country Pies
The Linda McCartney pies are also vegan which is a bonus, so we will give them a try over the next week or so too.
I will be sure to let you know what I think of these.
The first gig of many in 2017 was certainly one not to be missed, the incredible Crossfire were billed to play Saith Seren in Wrexham. Having seen them on the closing gig of 2016 in the freezing cold and knowing the show they put on as a band, I made my way over to the venue to experience and capture the gig in person, as expected they didn’t disappoint, playing a mixture of modern day pop songs in their own unique style and some classic rock songs from greats such as AC/DC it was definitely a gig not to be missed.
Here are some of the images I captured from that gig.

December 2016 I decided for a number of reasons that I would shave my beard, it was my pride and joy and honestly I had never felt personally as confident as I did when I had the beard I know people would look and talk about me when I wasn’t listening but I wasn’t really bothered but I shaved it, it is gone and now all that remains is a small bit of stubble.
I sat and thought about why I had decided to shave the beard, what made me decide to get rid of it and none of the things that came to mind should have ever have played a part in that decision, I was happy, I enjoyed growing it. It wasn’t until a friend of mine recently said “the beard was your symbol” that it made me realise that I should grow it back.
So..here we are almost at the end of January 2017 and I am growing back the beard I once had, however, this time it is going to be bigger and better than it was before – this is my body, my face and the beard made me the person I am today.
2017 is the year I promised myself to get out with the camera and capture more bands through the lens, so far I have made good on that promise with my first gig next week and a bunch of other gigs lined up through until April it should be a good start to the year.
I will be posting the pictures from the gigs here so make sure you keep an eye out.
Recently a new trampoline park opened local to us and it has been on the cards to visit for a while now and today we finally got to do it.
I was a bit nervous about it, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, if it was going to be a massive room full of trampolines and lots of kids running around it would be a recipe for disaster, but Flip Out Chester was totally different it was run like clockwork there were “stewards” on the park floor monitoring each section to ensure that everyone abided by the rules and nobody “stepped out of line”. What is more, you have to book on for a one-hour session, you get issued with a coloured wristband and can only enter the park when the time for your band comes, try and get onto the park when it isn’t your turn and you will be swiftly evicted.
