I have been a lover of Apple products for such a long time now, I have an iPhone, Mac & Apple Watch but recently my iPhone 6 Plus started to play up, it would randomly turn off and the battery wouldn’t hold for any length of time just so we have some context I have had an iPhone from the early days of the iPhone 3GS and since had every major release however this time I really felt that the iPhone had gone in a different direction and it was no longer a device I could see my self using.
So what do I think of the One Plus 5? Well let me tell you;

Now that the summer is here I thought it would be the perfect time to discuss what shower products I have found work best for me, I have been using a variety of different products up until now but recently switched to some of the Superdrug range as they are both Cruelty Free (Leaping Bunny) and suitable for vegans.

I have spent seven whole days with Mr Dandy’s Hair Candy, during this time I have learnt a lot about it, how well we get on together and if we will be suited to one another long term, I was looking for a good hair product that was vegan-friendly but not a pomade and not really a wax or a paste, these products are great for certain hair styles but not for me, I needed something a bit more flexible, hopefully this review will help you.

Back to The Tivoli last night, this time to see an upcoming band that I hadn’t seen before, Stone Broken, they are on the Download Festival bill and with them playing a show so close to home I wanted to see them in a more intimate venue.
I got there early, so much so I got to see the two support acts, arriving early certainly paid off, getting a spot right on the barrier. This band didn’t disappoint, the atmosphere in the Tivoli was electric playing songs from ‘All In Time’ their current album but also treating us to a number of new tracks off their forthcoming album, the crowd singing along to almost every single song it was a fantastic evening.
If you haven’t seen Stone Broken yet and they are playing somewhere close to home, get down and see them, you won’t be disappointed. I didn’t take my camera but got some pictures on my phone which are below.

I have seen these boxes in some of the vegan magazines I have been reading, they looked great and I was lucky enough to be gifted one for my birthday from a family member, it came jam packed full of amazing goodies, some of which I had never even heard of before, I wanted to share my experience of this snack box with you all.

I guess deodorant isn’t something you would really pay all that much attention to, I know I didn’t, I would walk into the store find one you like and walk out, right?
Since going Vegan I have started looking more and more into what is inside products, what makes them work and deodorant was one of them products I wanted to replace, I won’t go into the reasons as this is a review.
After I had decided I no longer wanted to use aerosol deodorant anymore I began searching for something that wouldn’t let me get smelly during the day, that was good for my body and as a bonus would smell good (the last point wasn’t mandatory) I found so many different solutions, I could make my own deodorant, much like powder variety you get from Lush or I could buy a deodorant from a company that already had the formula worked out, I choose the latter, that is when I found Salt Of The Earth from Crystal Spring.

Today I want to talk about toothbrushes, yep that is right toothbrushes, for as long as I can remember I have been using a generic toothbrush you can pick up at any chemist or health store, the kind with nylon bristles and plastic handles, you know the ones, right? Recently I discovered bamboo toothbrushes made with bamboo bristles and a bamboo handle, much nicer on the environment as they degrade much better when you put them into the trash, and the materials they are made from are responsibly sourced also they don’t give off nasty chemicals when they degrade so and overall better for the environment.
So what is the toothbrush actually like Rich?
It comes delivered in a brown paper packet, there is no plastic to open, simply tear the top of the packet and remove the brush, you can put the paper packet right in the trash and it will bio-degrade, or pop it in the compost bin if you have one.

New shoes you say? I hardly ever buy new shoes I either can’t find ones that are comfy enough or I just can’t justify the large amounts of money some of the shoes cost for the very short life they seem to live, however I have been looking for some slip on slip off type shoes to replace my old tatty vans which had seen better days, they had a massive hole in the bottom and my feet would get soaked every time I went outside when the floor was wet or damp, which in the UK is pretty much all the time, so they had to go.

Liar Liar has been open in town for a while now but I have never been, today I decided to give it a shot.
You are made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in, the customer service is fantastic I ordered a Latte with Soya milk, while I was waiting a lovely lady came over “Are you eating in?” I was “You can go and find a seat if you like, we will bring your drink to you” I did just that, I found a stool in the corner, the same girl came over “There is plenty of space upstairs if you would like to sit up there” amazing, I went upstairs and found a seat, it was really roomy, not cramped the windows are huge and let is loads of natural light, I just sat there for a while taking it all in.
My drink wasn’t that far behind me, delivered in a lovely mug I took a sip, usually, I like a sugar in my coffee but this was lovely, it is really hard to explain but the coffee tasted delicious, much nicer than Starbuck’s offering anyway.

I have had the Apple Watch for a good few months now and thought I would share my thoughts on it as a daily watch.
I decided to get an Apple Watch around Christmas 2016 I had been wanting one for a while but held off waiting, when the Apple Watch 2 was released I decided that I wanted to get one, I started saving and when Christmas came I had enough money to go out and buy one, I opted for the 42mm watch face made from Aluminium with a white sports wristband, I don’t know what it is about watch bands but certain bands don’t sit nicely on my wrist, the Apple Watch band however, is super soft and really comfortable.
So, about the watch itself…
The home screen is completely modular, you can select a number of different faces and depending on the face you choose you can choose different ‘widgets’ from Watch supported apps installed on your phone to show up in these widget areas, for example, I have Dark Sky weather installed on my phone and you can see it shows the information about the weather in the middle of the watch face, pretty cool right?
